Wides and No Balls Don’t Count for Balls Faced (Poster)
Source: No-Balls-and-Wides-not-counting-as-Balls-faced-August-2026.pdf, page 1 – a single poster image with no text layer. Text transcribed from the image by Claude and checked against zoomed crops; poster capitals changed to sentence case.
A one-page CJCA poster (August 2026) explaining that wides and no balls don’t count as balls faced, so they don’t count towards a batter’s retirement limit or grace period. The poster is shown first; its text is transcribed into the cards below so it can be read at any size. Capitals on the poster are written here in sentence case; the wording is otherwise as shown. The change is described in the changes document.
Rules: Christchurch Junior Cricket Association (CJCA). Reformatted as coaching notes; see the source PDF for the official wording.
